Main Street – Montpelier
40 Main Street, Montpelier, VT
ARC partnered with Housing VT and created two commercial condos at the “French Block” in Downtown Montpelier, VT. The upper stories were sold off to Housing VT and rehabbed into 18 mixed-income apartments. The building was significantly rehabbed inside and out and received low-income and state/federal historic tax credits as part of the redevelopment.
ARC retained the first-floor commercial units, currently leased to Capitol Copy and Aubuchon Hardware under long-term net leases. Main Street and Downtown Montpelier remain a vibrant economic hub of Central VT.
